In a recent conversation with a manager, I was advised to steer clear of the term purpose, as it has suffered a fate shared by many trends: from initial exciting “hype” to “persona non grata”. While I understand that this disillusionment is happening, I believe purpose has the potential to transform our business world into a more equitable and sustainable version, but only if we redefine and apply it in meaningful ways.
Here’s why we need to drop our current concept of “Teamwork”

And indeed, it has probably become one of my most counterintuitive learnings over the years that we may need to let go of our concept of teamwork to allow new and different possibilities lf collaboration to emerge.
